RESPONSIBILITIES

● Strategic Leadership (Accountability): Develop and execute the company's R&D strategy in alignment with its long-term goals and vision. Provide visionary but practical leadership to the R&D team, fostering innovation, creativity, and a continuous improvement and excellence culture.

● Product Development: Lead and oversee the development of our core products (focus on the developer's platform and functional applications) and have direct responsibility for the R&D deliveries.

● Team Player: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, electronics, mechanics, and product management.

● Resource Management: Manage the department, allocate resources effectively, and optimize R&D processes to ensure the efficient development and delivery of high-quality products on time.

● Team Development: Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth within the R&D department. The company's DNA is to invest in our team members, so it should be a top priority for you as well.

● Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges and clearly communicate them to the management, always offering alternatives and strategies to ensure project success. Monitor and evaluate project progress to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

YOU'RE THE STAR WE NEED IF YOU:

● Have 7+ years in software development, with at least three years of hands-on experience in Python/C++.

● Have a proven track record of leadership in R&D, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior management role.

● Have a strong, proven history of successful execution of tech projects from concept to production.

● Have a solid background with Linux OS, working and setting up complex architectures, and micro-service experience.

● Are a team player with excellent leadership skills. We are not looking for lonely wolves.

● Are passionate about technology; have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

● Are well-organized, flexible, and can keep an overview of all your team's tasks.

● Have strong knowledge of robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation technologies, and ROS - Big Advantage!
