Restrictions Analyst- IL

We are looking for a passionate Restrictions Analyst to join our operations group.

You will work closely under the management of the Restrictions team leader, as well as other internal stakeholders such as classification team, product, data configurations, account and project management etc. The ability to manage export controls is a critical element in the company’s core services and is a major aspect of the company’s growth, compliance, and international expansion. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring and implementing the export control/restriction policies to ensure business compliance. You will provide guidance and support requests from internal and external stakeholders that includes product catalogue classification and restriction, facilitate tasks and performance, and take ownership with updating and maintaining information accuracy.

Requirements:

• BA in Logistics or another quantitative field- a must
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel – a must
• Basic knowledge with SQL.
• Experience working in a fast-paced global environment with the ability to juggle between multiple projects or competing priorities.
• Fluent English (written & spoken) and excellent communication skills.
• Fast and independent learner.
• A team player that will work cohesively with other team members to achieve department goals.
• Experience in Customs and Trade compliance, Harmonized Tariff classification, product restrictions – preferred
