We're looking for an experienced creative director to manage the creation of short-form digital videos for our brand!
You'll be responsible for overseeing the ideation, development, production and post-production of organic and paid content for our social media channels
We treat content as science, and we work hard to understand what makes a video get hundreds of thousands of views. We're not here to just push out videos with a branded message. Every little detail from the writing to the typesetting, music and captions is carefully considered. If this sounds exciting to you, please read on.
What You’ll Do:
- Learn a new process for creating social media content, based on research and analysis, and then lead and create with the internal and external creative teams.
- Collaborate cross functionally with internal and external brand teams, account managers, directors, production teams, editors, motion graphics artists, writers, and others to create high performing videos for a diverse range of consumers and client brands.
- Translate strategic briefs into compelling, well-executed videos that drive consumers to take action, scale our client brands & disrupt industries.
- Establish shoot needs, including leveraging existing assets, to consistently include best-in-class content in each video.
- Write and review video scripts centered around compelling hooks.
- Shoot, edit, and direct as dictated by the needs of each project, when it would be beneficial to take on those roles.
- Constantly challenge the team to improve video performance by creating innovative, credible content that appeals to consumer needs and client/brand vision.
- Interpret data reflecting consumer behavior across the social ecosystem to iterate existing videos, continually optimizing performance across multiple metrics.
- Comply with legal, client and brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Must be open to learning a new process for ideating and creating organic social media content that is based on research and measurable data.
- Must have experience leading cross functional creative teams, including editors.
- Must have experience ideating, scriptwriting, shooting, editing, and directing original social content.
- Must have experience managing multiple fast turnaround projects simultaneously.
- 4+ years managing productions as a creative director, producer, or director to deliver compelling digital content for FB/Snap/TikTok/Instagram/YouTube.
- Ability to inspire a team to share your passion and vision to complete a given project.
- Must provide link(s) to a portfolio of digital content you have produced and/or directed or created and be ready to discuss the strategy underpinning each.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing is a plus
- Experience using data and research to drive decision making
- Writing, Editing or Motion Graphics experience
- Experience shooting with iPhones, DSLRs or REDs
- Willingness to be the face of the brand in some content format.
