Job Title: DevOps Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled DevOps Lead to join our dynamic team and contribute to our company's success in providing top-notch DevOps engineering services. As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and implementation of DevOps practices and processes for our clients. This is a remote position that requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design effective DevOps strategies and solutions to meet their needs.
• Develop and implement DevOps processes, tools, and automation frameworks to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of clients' infrastructure and applications.
• Define and enforce best practices for continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and other DevOps practices.
• Drive the adoption of cloud-native technologies and architectures, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to optimize clients' infrastructure and application deployments.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met by implementing appropriate measures and collaborating with security teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and applications, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to DevOps and provide recommendations for process improvements and optimizations.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support pre-sales activities, including proposal development, solution architecture, and client presentations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. -Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of DevOps engineers, including remote teams.
• Strong expertise in implementing DevOps practices and tools, including -CI/CD pipelines, configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or --Google Cloud, including cloud-native services and architectures.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or Go.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure --DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer are a plus.
