Senior Rust Developer

Position: Senior Rust Developer (Full-time)

Location: Full Remote

For a leading FoodTech provider in Dubai

Job Responsibility: 

The Blockchain Engineer should be able to design, to develop, maintain and to trouble-shoot technical problems related to our own blockchain using Rust & Substrate.

Required:  in-depth knowledge of libp2p, blockchain consensus, RocksDB, JSON-RPC, scale codec, Prometheus, writing substrate pallets.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining Prometheus telemetry of blockchain nodes.
• From time to time, reviewing the existing consensus such as: block authoring consensus (aura pallet, babe pallet), block finalization consensus (grandpa pallet).
• Maintaining documentation of Chain Specification (including raw chain spec) and genesis block.
• Design and develop substrate pallets for our business needs; Troubleshooting any error and refining operation procedures.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Substrate v3.0.; Familiarity with Rust; Familiarity with PolkadotJS; Familiarity with Json-rpc & Substrate Scale Codec; Familiarity with Polkascan + Pre-harvester is a plus or subscan.
• Extensive knowledge of Blockchain Consensus such as: POW, POA, POS and NPOS.
• Understanding libp2p or IPFS is a plus.
