About This Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Opto-Mechanical Assembler to join our production team.

The role includes Building and validating precision optical-mechanical assemblies in strict accordance with procedures and drawings.

In this role, you will...

Assemble precise opto-mechanical parts.

Be responsible for validation.

Make adjustments as necessary to produce the product within specifications.

Reject product outside of specifications.

Complete daily production logs.

Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Production Supervisor.

In this role, you’ll need …

• High school diploma.
• Practical engineer in Mechanics or Optics – an advantage.
• 3-7 years of experience in assembly of precise optical/electronic systems.
• Experience in reading and understanding drawing of mechanical systems – an advantage.
• Experience in working according to an SOP – an advantage.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Hebrew fluently.
• Good English
  

Physical demands and work environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle objects and tools; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move light to moderate weight. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

• Work Environment: The noise level and temperature in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Production employees might be exposed to a moderate noise level as a result of the Clean Environment equipment and production Jigs.
• Normally, the work in the production area requires long standing (hours).
• Production employees are required to gown and use hair and shoe covers while working in the production line.
  

The Production Department Operates In Shifts

06:00-15:00 and 15:00-00:00.

The position requires flexibility in working both shifts and working on Fridays when needed.
