R&D Project Manager

a global biotech company is looking for R&D project manager

Responsibility: Manage development activities of a product, including the R&D project team

Key Activities:

Project Planning:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.

Interact with the various professional disciplines to achieve project goals

Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.

Supervise activities related to formulation development, preclinical studies and analytical methods.

Conduct feasibility and risk assessment to identify potential obstacles and develop mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

Provide clear direction and priorities to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Facilitate effective communication within the team, ensuring alignment on goals and progress updates.

Budget and Resource Management:

Manage project budgets, monitoring expenses and resource allocations throughout the project lifecycle.

Development Plan Management:

Monitor project timelines and milestones, proactively identifying potential delays or bottlenecks.

Implement strategies to optimize project timelines while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Adjust project plans as needed to accommodate changes in scope, priorities, or external factors.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation plans to minimize impact on project outcomes.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and internal procedures

Qualifications:

PhD in chemistry, biology, material science or any other related field.

Proven experience in pharmaceutical/medical device project management, understanding the design control process or IND/NDA process.

Strong understanding of medical devicel product development lifecycle, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Problem-solving orientation and ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
