Manager In-Market Logistics (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise third-party logistics execution; oversee inter-company plant-to-affiliate shipping, including customs processes; and manage the outbound delivery process through cooperation and management of the logistic service provider
• Oversee warehousing operations, including management of the company ERP system postings, and driving the agreement of processes between the logistic service provider and our ERP, and clarifying any differences that may occur
• Arrange physical inventory/cycle counts with the logistic servicer provider, including creating physical inventory documents, performing physical inventory counts and entering results and reviewing for inventory differences, routing for approvals, and initiating and reconciling recounts if necessary
• Collaborate with In-Market Commercial Operations to produce all Market Distribution statistics and reports, including monthly Goals, ad-hoc reports, and cost center spend analysis
• Collaborate with In-Market logistic services provider to provide 3PL data to support Indicator reporting and business analysis
• Support ERP procurement, including fulfilling subcontract orders, addressing supplier managed inventory through periodic physical inventory checks, and resolving exceptions
• Support any potential CMO-related logistic activities in the market
• Work in collaboration with local team (commercial and QP) to Support in market logistic activities vis a vis local stakeholders (sick funds, hospital, MoH).

Quality Management System Support

• Lead deviation investigations to support quality events such as Product Technical Complaints, Shipping Temperature Excursions, or Distribution Damages
• Author/Approve Standard Operating Procedures to support In-Market Logistics Operations and Global Logistics Processes
• Work with Global/Local Quality and In-Market Commercial Operations to lead Recall Execution including generating distribution reports, coordinating stock movements/returns.

Qualifications:

• Local language fluency, English language fluency
• Five+ years of experience in a Shipping / Logistics role in a distribution environment
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle simultaneous responsibilities, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to communicate with all levels of employees
• Experience with transportation principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits
• Experience with principles and processes for providing customer services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• SAP experience
• Skills working in a global matrix reporting environment
