Senior Bacteriologist

The position entails a laboratory environment where you, a skilled biotech researcher will develop hands-on, wet laboratory as well as analytical research. You’ll help us pioneer and establish us as a sole leader in our disruptive field. Objectives of this Role

· Develop industry-leading controlled experiments that adhere to budgetary constraints and project directives

· Devise orderly development plans and timetables with achievable goals.

· Manage a biological experimental lab.

· Develop biomaterials and experiment in handling and preserving bacterial cultures

· Safely perform experiments on subjects, maintaining confidentiality of all personal information

· Generate meaningful datasets, storing and organizing metrics into our database

· Analyze, interpret, and translate results into actionable and tangible findings—assisting with the publication of official articles as needed

· Work with Tier1 partners on joint products, may require non-frequent travel.

· Administer all processes and procedures in a compliant, ethical, and comprehensive manner

Skills and Qualifications

· Master’s degree in life sciences

· MUST - Experience working with Bacterial cultures, microbiome, yeasts, probiotics.

· 2 years prior laboratory INDUSTRY experience - MUST

· Experience in the development of FDA approved biomaterials

· Experience in the scaling up of a lab process to industrial levels

· Experience in Industry (pharma, cosmetics, microbiology)

· Ability to work flexible and/or long hours
