About the role

We are looking for an experienced legal professional who will take on and coordinate all the company’s legal and corporate activities for a period of at least 6 months, with the possibility of continuing to a permanent position.

You will play a critical role in providing comprehensive legal guidance and support to our organization. You will be responsible for managing all legal matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and safeguarding the company's interests. This position reports directly to the COO, and you will collaborate closely with various departments to assess legal risks and help drive strategic decision-making.

Reporting into:COO or such person who de-facto fulfills this role.

Responsibilities

• Legal Counsel and Advice: offer legal advice to the leadership team and various departments on a wide range of legal issues, including contract negotiations, intellectual property, corporate governance, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate all the legal work vis-à-vis the company’s external legal counsels from the world’s top firms.
• Contract Management: review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, agreements, and legal documents, such as customer agreements, vendor agreements, service contracts, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Compliance and Risk Management: monitor and ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations.
• Corporate Governance: support the Board of Directors and executive leadership in matters related to corporate governance and company structure.
• Assist the Finance department with the company’s ESOP and grants, and capitalization table Data Privacy and Security: oversee data privacy compliance and develop strategies to protect customer and employee data.
• Employee Training: conduct legal training sessions for employees to enhance legal awareness and compliance.
• Lead, together with the COO the company’s OKRs program.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience as an attorney, OR relevant experience as a jurist/paralegal with a focus on corporate law, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance. In-house experience is preferred -A Must
• Active membership in the Israeli Bar Association- preferable
• Solid understanding of contract and corporate law principles and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to legal challenges.
• Strong communicator; Fluent in English and Hebrew
