Position Overview

The Social Content Creator will play a pivotal role in driving our brand's strategy,

execution, and analysis on TikTok and Instagram. With a finger on the pulse of the latest

trends, you'll craft compelling content that resonates with our audience and drives

measurable results. This role extends beyond mere creation; it encompasses strategizing

and analyzing to ensure optimal impact and growth. This is a freelance, contract position.

The ideal candidate has a passion for creating TikTok & Instagram content with a focus on

engagement and growth for the brand. We are looking for a team member who has creative

ideas and understands platform trends. This role is perfect for someone who is already an

avid user and creator of TikTok video content and Instagram content and preferably has

passion for beauty.

Responsibilities

● Strategy Development: Craft and implement a comprehensive content strategy for

TikTok and Instagram, ensuring alignment with brand values, goals, overarching

marketing calendar and audience interests.

● Content Creation: Develop, produce, and edit high-quality, engaging, and authentic

content—including videos, stories, reels, and posts—that captivates our audience

and amplifies our brand presence. Conduct research on industry trends and carry

out competitor analysis to remain updated on the latest social media trends.

Responsible for the full execution of content strategy: filming, editing, designing.

● Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, measure, and analyze performance metrics to

understand content efficacy, audience behavior, and ROI. Provide insights and

recommendations based on data-driven decisions.

● Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest platform updates, features, and

trending topics to ensure our content remains fresh, relevant, and ahead of the

curve.

● Collaboration: Work closely with the broader marketing, product, and creative

teams to align content strategies with promotional campaigns, product launches,

and other brand initiatives.

● Community Building: Actively seek feedback from the community, responding to

comments, and leveraging insights to refine content strategy and execution. Engage

with with the community in a way that is on-brand, conversations, customer

service, stitch, duet etc

Qualifications:

● Required to be English Native Speaker

Demonstrated experience in content creation across both IG and TikTok platforms,

ideally within the beauty industry. Proficiency in creating diverse content types,

including static and video, some design experience preferred.

● A track record of providing strategy, executing content, and possessing a profound

understanding of analytics. Capacity to pivot and refine strategies based on

performance.

● In-depth comprehension of the channel ecosystem: trends, hashtags, music usage,

functionalities, guidelines, and platform updates.

● Evidence of having nurtured social media into an engaged and substantial following.

● Passion and interest in weaving compelling brand narratives that captivate.

● Superior verbal, written, copy editing, and proofreading skills.

● Previous experience in the beauty sector is preferred.
