Collplant Biotechnologies is developing technologies in the fields of regenerative medicine, 3D bioprinting of tissues and organs and medical aesthetics. We are looking for a Organic Chemistry R&D Scientist to join us at our site in Rehovot.

Job Description

• Design and synthesis of small molecules/ polymers/ polymer modifications.
• Support the R&D activities related to all chemical aspects of product development.
• Contribute scientific expertise to design and implement studies to support early-stage development programs and progression of late stage requirements.
• Develop formulations to support 3D bioprinting.
• Conduct experiments in lab, evaluate results and establish manufacturing process.
• Implement professional skills gained while demonstrating independent judgment abilities.
• Summarize and review study results, protocols, and reports.
• Anticipate, identify, and work collaboratively to resolve issues affecting progression of studies.
• Participate in cross-functional development-team activities.
• Implements professional skills gained while demonstrating independent judgment ability.

Education and experience requirements

1. Knowledge/Educational Requirements

· Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry/ polymer science.

· A minimum of 3 years experience in chemical/pharma/biotech or similar industry.

· Experience in planning,conducting and monitoring research .

· Experience in writing scientific reports. Advantage: NMR, IR, Rheology

· Must be detail-oriented

· Creative , innovative, and out of the box thinking.

· Ability to work independently and with a team.

· Good communication skills.

· Good knowledge of English and writing skills
