Senior Software Engineer

Role Description

As the engineering Lead you will play a pivotal role in developing and leading the engineering efforts for our Brain Health application. Together with your talented team of engineers, you will contribute to product design and development, and drive innovation in the field of brain health technology. 

You will deep dive into our system, solve complex Engineering problems, experiment with the latest technologies and work across teams in Israel and Australia to make sure it is integrated properly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a cross-functional team of engineers, including core tech, backend, mobile applications, R&D and science teams, globally.
2. Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
3. Innovation: Continuously support science and R&D teams to explore emerging technologies, trends, and methodologies related to brain health screening and innovation in product development.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with science experts, researchers, devlopers, product, UX, QA and more, and translate any regulation / clinical requirements into technical solutions and ensure that products meet medical and regulatory standards.
5. Team Development: Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture, provide mentorship and coaching to team members, and facilitate their professional growth.
6. Project Management: Develop and maintain project plans, allocate resources, and track progress to meet milestones and project goals.
7. Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities adhere to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and industry best practices in the medtech sector.
8. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, engineering decisions, and project progress.
9. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with product development, ensuring the safety and efficacy of brain health solutions.

Qualifications

• TEAM player with outstanding interpersonal skills, with a proven working experience in global companies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• A commitment to innovation, problem-solving, and improving brain health outcomes.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical) or related field; Ph.D. is a plus.
• Proven experience in engineering leadership roles, preferably in the medical technology or medtech startup sector.
• Strong background in brain health technologies, neurology, or related fields.
• Expertise in product development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO).
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
