Guesty is looking for our first Director of Product Marketing! This is an incredible opportunity to help build a new organization in Guesty’s leading Marketing Department - and to help infuse the company’s marketing activities with the Guesty product. The Director of Product Marketing will lead Guesty’s PMM efforts company-wide with a combination of strategy, hands-on execution, and cross-company collaboration across the Product, Strategy, Sales, and Customer Success teams. We are looking for someone with extensive experience who is equally excited to lead a team to success and make an impact, as they are to roll-up their sleeves and dive in!
Responsibilities:
- Lead all product marketing activities – from developing product messaging to executing on product marketing collateral – transforming product capabilities and benefits into engaging and effective marketing programs to drive lead generation, upsell adoption, and increase brand awareness.
- Conduct market, competitive, audience, and use case research to inform our product messaging.
- Work closely with the Product, Strategy, and Sales teams to understand and translate technical capabilities and product features to business benefits and value propositions.
- Develop positioning and messaging for Guesty features and products, and successfully revisit and refine this messaging by persona and market segment.
- Lead the packaging and positioning of Guesty's products and solutions.
- Lead the creation of product marketing collateral including presentations, onboarding materials, videos, web pages, one-pagers, sales enablement collateral, and more.
- Work with the Product team to drive new product launches including creation of launch plans and content – with an eye toward company strategy, differentiators, and customer needs.
- Manage the cross-functional implementation of product launches.
- Ensure that product launches have a long-tail and that new products and features become integrated into Guesty’s broader marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with the wider Marketing team - including Content, Brand, Design, Events, and Growth to inform the targeting and messaging of new campaigns.
- Continuously improve product marketing processes and help to establish best practices for working across campaigns and teams.
- Manage a team of awesome Product Marketing Managers.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of product marketing experience, at least 4+ in B2B SaaS
- 3+ years in team management
- Experience owning the product marketing of a product or product line
- Strong communicator (verbal and written) with a proven ability to transform research into actionable insights and actionable insights into concise messages
- Excellent people and management skills
- Native English level - solid spoken and written skills
