The Role:

Leading and responsibility for complex technology projects, improving company preparedness for cyber incidents and maintaining networking communications systems and information security.

Job Description:

• Help shape and establishes corporate information security posture.
• Complete processes to achieve information security goals.
• Follow security-related policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Responsible for implementing and configure security tools.
• Oversee the administration, tuning, and optimization of security tools and infrastructure.
• Manage the Security Operations Center activities (SOC).
• Manages the continuous process to achieve aforementioned goals.
• Works closely with IT teams to implement technical and procedural controls.
• Follow CISO guidance to improve the state of corporate security.
• Replies to security-related inquiries from prospects, customers, and other entities.
• Lead and mentor the security operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Ensure the monitoring of security events, ensuring timely detection, and response to potential threats.
• Ensure the effective triage, prioritization, and resolution of security incident tickets.
• Contribute to post-incident analysis to identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain operational playbooks, SOPs, and procedures to ensure consistent incident handling and response.
• Identify areas for process and technical improvement and drive necessary changes to enhance the team's effectiveness.
• Reports to Head of global IT

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of Managerial experience in Information Security.

Technical Experience In Both:

• Incident response management.
• Security architecture design and implementation.

Process Experience:

• Experience in implementing and monitoring corporate security policies.
• Able to analyze and compare security solutions with an emphasis on technical merits.
• Experience in managing an SecOps team in a global corporate company – Must.
• Knowledge in information security technologies – Must.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Experience in team management – Must.
• Experience with IT companies and R&D needs – Advantage.
• Experience with global, distributed corporations – Must.
• CISSP/CISM certification – Advantage.
• Fluent English and Hebrew.
• Ability to work with a team.

Excellent Knowledge Of Security Controls And Products:

• In-depth knowledge and experience with information security systems: NAC, IPS, DNS, Load Balance, Cloud, EDR, WAF, SIEM, Firewall.
• Proven experience with tools for EDR, DLP, SIEM, FW, WAF, Email protection, Vulnerability scanning, IDM, Secure Access and CSPM.
• Proven experience with security in Azure and AWS.
• Experience with the following tools: Crowdstrike, Ironport, Forcepoint, Microsoft E3 security suite and Umbrella – Big advantage.
• Knowledge and experience with monitoring solution: IBM QRadar SIEM.
• Deep knowledge in networking and protocols (Switching / Routing) Layer2-7.
• Relevant courses and qualifications (such as: Linux, CCIE, CCSA, CCNA and similar).
