Mobileye's EyeC Lidar develops next-generation high-performance long-range LiDAR systems for autonomously driving vehicles.The project involves cutting-edge electro-optic modules for FMCW LIDAR, HW, VLSI, mechanics, SW, FW, signal processing and computer vision Algorithms.Our computer vision team is responsible for creating state-of-the-art perception algorithms based on our 4D pointcloud. This includes defining the data sets and scenarios for data collection, analyzing the collected data and modeling it, defining the algorithm and implementing it, while giving feedback to the Lidar's development team for constant improvement of the sensor itself.What will your job look like?
- Handle the pointcloud, learn both its underlying geometrical and statistical model
- Analyze defects and effects in the pointcloud and feedback the signal processing, system and optics teams
- Develop and code (in Matlab / Python / OpenCV and more) algorithms (some examples are ego motion estimation, hazards detection, objects classification, motion estimation, and drivable space identification)
- Define data collection scenarios for validation and testing of your algorithms,
- Get labeled data analyze it and feedback on its quality.
- Analyze the performance of your algorithms, optimize its complexity and run-time.
- MSc in relevant domain (SW Engineering / Computer Science / EE)
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with model-driven solutions
- Good software skills
- Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility and capability to work in a fast-paced work environment while supporting field tests and other team tasks
- Experience in optimized implementation and/or algorithm design for Embedded platforms- an advantage
- Experience in MATLAB - an advantage
- Experience with data-driven solutions - an advantage
