Johnson & Johnson (J&J) is recruiting for a Finance Director supporting the Biosense Webster International (BWI) Global End-to-End Supply Chain. This position will be based in Haifa District, Israel.

Scope of Role:

This role reports directly to the Senior Finance Director, Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS) Global End-to-End Supply Chain and dotted line into the Senior Finance Director, BWI Global Franchise. The core job responsibility is to provide informed financial and business leadership to drive both the short- and long-term strategies for the Global BWI End-to-End Supply Chain. Additionally, this role will provide direct business partner support to the BWI Global E2E Supply Chain Vice President and will be a member of the BWI Supply Chain and Israeli Sourcing Company (HTC) leadership teams.

This position is key to enhancing value within the supply chain, managing a high degree of complexity within demand & and supply, ensuring quality & and compliance, and making the very best decisions across a diverse network of internal and external manufacturing sites to support the growth agenda for J&J MedTech.

Key Responsibilities:

Led a diverse team of ~33 associates (including 2 domestic & 2 international direct reports) supporting 5 internal manufacturing sites and a network of third-party suppliers & and external manufacturing locations based across North & Central America, Europe, Israel, and Asia.

  • Develop, adjust, implement, and maintain organizational design that supports global business partners in multiple locations worldwide. This includes recruiting and onboarding global teams.
  • Develop functional goals that are aligned with finance and business unit objectives.
  • Provide an environment for the professional growth of staff which includes actionable feedback, recognition, and rewards as well as coaching and mentoring in support of the staff development plans and succession planning objectives.

End-to-end supply Chain Finance leadership for BWI managing ~$1.5B COGS and ~$1B Capex & Inventory cashflow to enable ~$4.5B Global Sales.

  • Provide direct finance counsel and leadership support to the BWI Global E2E Supply Chain Vice President, HTC Israel Sourcing Company leadership team, BWI Global Franchise President, and Senior Finance Director.
  • Partner with the broader BWI Supply Chain leadership team and four Value Stream leaders to formulate & and drive strategic imperatives and collaborate with Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, and Corporate functional centers of excellence (Quality, Deliver, Source, Plan, Tax, Treasury) to operate a Global End-to-End Supply Chain structure and deliver on profitability & cashflow targets.
  • Orchestrate Gross Profit and flow improvement across the Supply Chain and Commercial by driving the value capture plan and related business cases (e.g., New Product Introductions, Portfolio Life Cycle Management, Manufacturing Excellence / Cost Improvement, Manufacturing Network Strategy / Make vs. Buy, Supplier Reliability, etc.).
  • Coordination of core financial planning & and reporting cycle consolidation and analysis on both a forecast and actual basis (e.g., Annual Standard Cost Revision, Business Plan, June & and November Updates, Latest Thinking, Monthly Closing, Long-Range / Mid-Term Financial Plan, Executive S&OP / Integrated Business Planning) to provide performance variance transparency & trend insights, risk mitigation plans as well as project portfolio and headcount funding prioritization across Supply Chain functions and Value Streams.

Base business improvement to deliver standardization, simplicity and agility for planning and reporting while also driving effectiveness in internal controls.

  • Perform external and internal benchmarking to enhance value and shape ERP functional design and simplification as the supply chain network evolves over the long-range horizon.
  • Encourage participation and adoption of various J&J Corporate and MedTech Finance culture, process, and technology initiatives.
  • Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley controls, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and local statutory compliance standards are fully met for all processes and locations

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
  • An MBA, CPA, CMA and/or other financial certifications are preferred and may be helpful.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive and relevant finance experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of people management experience with a consistent record of inspiring, empowering & and developing talent.
  • Strong analytical, technical accounting, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in integrating emerging digital technologies, tools & and visualization techniques to drive finance workload efficiencies and value creation.
  • Confidence in establishing, maintaining, and ensuring adherence to an effective internal control environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and appropriately plan, prioritize, and communicate progress on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Should possess sophisticated business intuition, including the passion to develop business cases and implement strategies as well as the ability to lead through ambiguity, and make difficult decisions to deliver core operational results aligned with business objectives.
  • Should demonstrate big-picture thinking and consider the broader J&J business implications while balancing with appropriate attention to detail, confidentiality, accuracy, and sound judgment in delivering outcomes.
  • Proficiency in networking, collaborating, and generating consensus effectively in a complex, international environment possessing strong social skills, promoting inclusion, and building trusting relationships with business partners across all cultures, functions, and levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication skills (listening, business writing, presenting) and a consistent track record of influencing peers and business partners and interacting effectively with Senior Management.
  • Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting, internal control, and project controlling principles.
  • Prior experience driving manufacturing site start-up, network transformation, tech transfer, acquisition integration, and automation or standardization of supply chain finance activities.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of ERP functionality & and master data setup (JDE/SAP), Sales and operations Planning / Integrated Business Planning processes, international legal entity statutory & and regulatory requirements, trade compliance / intercompany product & and financial flows, labor agreements and financial audits.
  • Prior healthcare / medical device industry experience.

Other:

  • This position will be based in Haifa District, Israel, and will require up to 25% travel (domestic and international).
