Back End (python) Team Leader

One of our clients - start up company in the fields of Digital Health is looking to hire RD Team Leader. The company is the first behavioral science company to leverage AI & EI (emotional intelligence) through its digital healthcare solutions, located in Israel. (50 employee, Ramat Gan)

We're looking for R&D Team Leader who has a blend of technical development skills and team building and leading experience to execute R&D programs successfully.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary group of 4-6 team members (Back End Developers, Mobile developers, and a QA engineer) in an Agile environment.
• Manage and guide your team members while designing, coding, and delivering features to production
• Be the tech owner of your team’s products.
• Take end-to-end professional responsibility over your team, including leading your developers to personal and professional growth.
• Work closely with different groups within the company and management to achieve business goals.

Required Experience & Qualification

• Minimum of 4-5 years in professional software development, with a focus on full stack or backend being a distinct advantage.
• At least 2-3 years leading development teams.
• Experience with PHP is advantageous. (The current platform is developed in PHP, and we are transitioning to Python. Proficiency in PHP could certainly be advantageous.)
• Experience with Python (Since we are transitioning to Python, a solid familiarity with the language is an essential skill required to navigate the transition effectively.
• Familiarity with mobile development, specifically Android and/or iOS, is beneficial. (The product is a mobile application based on backend infrastructures. We are not specifically seeking a mobile developer; however, familiarity with mobile development will be advantageous. It is not a requirement, as the company provides professional support in mobile development.)
• Experience working in a cloud-based environment - AWS is preferred.
