Role Description
Solid Payments is seeking a full-time brilliant Risk Management Analyst for for a leading Fintech company in Herzliya. As part of the Risk Management team, the analyst will be responsible for managing and monitoring transactions on a daily basis to identify and evaluate potential risks based on various assessment criteria. The analyst will be required to analyze large volumes of data to identify trends and patterns, investigate suspicious transactions, work with fraud prevention tools, and be involved in developing and enhancing risk processes.
In this role, you will be responsible for analysing our client's performance and their financial data and providing forecasting, identifying trends and suspicious patters to avoid unnecessary risk exposure, preparing reports and projections accordingly based on your analysis. Work closely with other company departments as external partners departments abroad.
-Analysis of data from different systems.
-High level of preparation of Excel reports and data analysis.
-Reporting to company management and other parties in the company.
- Constant and independent learning of processes and procedures in the field.
- Communication with external partners and clients
-Understanding business needs and producing decision-supporting data.
-Working with entities in Israel and abroad, communicating in English and Hebrew.
-Daily work with a variety of technical teams, financial teams, compliance teams and client managers.
- Work on several projects simultaneously
- Generating reports from information systems and entering information from various systems
-Decision making and warning on financial exposures.
-A pleasant and high-quality work environment in the style of a start-up company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Information Technology or similarly quantitative field
- 1-2 years of professional experience in risk management or fraud detection or two years of proven experience as an analyst in a fintech/B2B company.
- Experience with payment/payment security products, protocols and compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to meet project goals and timelines
- Full mastery of Excel at a high-level PIVOT / VLOOKUPIF formulas (not just general familiarity) - A must!
- Excellent written and verbal communication english, analytical and presentation skills are a must.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel or SQL, with demonstrated ability to manipulate large data sets and convert them into actionable insights and recommendations
- Strong attention to detail, the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to deeply understand data - Ability to explain business-level data professionally.
- English at a very high level - speaking and writing - A must.
- Independence and initiative.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to cope with simultaneous multitasking and stressful situations.
Requirements that are an advantage:
- Previous experience in a payment company.
- Experience in the online field
- Experience working with international clients
- Familiarity with the MONDAY system
- Experience in managing a small team and tasks.
