Privacy Compliance Officer

About your mission:

You will advise the Company on privacy and data protection matters, building and maintaining our global privacy and data protection compliance and governance framework.

What Will Your Job Look Like:

• Develop, implement and oversee the Company’s Privacy Compliance & Governance Program, including the design, maintenance and monitoring of relevant policies and procedures, reporting practices and controls.
• Create and carry out privacy education and training programs.
• Communicate with regulators worldwide as required.
• Keep up to date on relevant laws and regulations globally, interface with external counsel and provide legal advice on privacy related matters to all company units and departments.
• Work with internal stakeholders to promote data privacy and protection compliance.
• Manage and maintain a central mapping system to track and ensure compliance for all Company data collection and processing activities.
• You will report directly to the General Counsel and be part of the Legal & Compliance Team.

Requirements:

• Law Degree
• At least 10 years’ practical experience in privacy compliance function(s) is a must.
• At least 5 years in said role(s) in a global technology company.
• Strong knowledge of privacy and data protection laws and regulations.
• Practical experience in developing, implementing and overseeing Privacy Compliance & Governance Programs.
• Excellent English (written and spoken)
• Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, a team player with ability to motivate and mobilize interdisciplinary teams towards a unified end goal.
• Business acumen
• Professional certifications (like CCEP) is a plus
