Our client is a global cloud managed services provider (MSP) that specializes in Tech companies (startups, SME’s, ISV’s and Unicorns).

They use their passion to help companies plan, build, and run Azure/AWS based solutions by offering zero-cost consultancy, training, 24/7 support, cloud cost optimization and much more. For their client It is more than “Just” using the cloud.

They live and breathe the production life-cycle, and understand how fast and agile the customers need to be.

As a FinOps Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing cloud costs and ensuring efficient resource allocation for the clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of experience in AWS or Azure, and knowledge of CloudHealth, to take on a customer-facing role and make a significant impact on our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and provide expert guidance on cost management in the cloud.
• Act as a primary point of contact, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, and effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Utilize tools such as CloudHealth to monitor, analyze, and report on cloud expenditure, proactively identifying cost-saving opportunities and presenting actionable recommendations to clients.
• Demonstrate the ability to drill down into billing data, understand cloud services, and identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
• Work independently to solve problems and address challenges, while also being an integral part of a collaborative team environment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our FinOps processes, sharing insights and best practices with the team.
• Take part in shaping the role of a FinOps Engineer within our organization, influencing the future direction and strategies of the team.
• 2-3 years of experience working with AWS or Azure, with a strong understanding of cloud concepts and services.
• Proficiency in CloudHealth or similar cloud cost management tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze billing data and identify opportunities for optimization.
• A technical background (ideally DevOps experience).
• A proven experience with Pyhon and SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
