SternIT is seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator with a demonstrated ability to master new technology.
Responsibilities
• Effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware and software as well as related infrastructure.
• Assist project teams with project initiation and planning, including:
o Needs definition and benefits
o Technical Strategy
o Project life cycle R&D
o Technical analysis and design
• Support operations staff
Qualifications
• 3 years Linux server administrator
• Networking tcp\ip
• Experienced in Linux standard automation i.e. deployment
• Experienced in writing scripts with Bash, TCSH, Python
• LVM , Cluster and Real Time
Additional Skills
• High availability and failover, load balancer
• Experience working with global clients
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with documentation and procedures
