Our client, a leading Biotechnology company developing technologies in the fields of regenerative medicine, 3D bioprinting of tissues and organs and medical aesthetics, is looking for a Director of Commercialization.
Location: Israel, Rehovot (On-site)
Scope: Full time
Reporting to: CEO
Job Description:
The Director of Commercialization will lead the company's sales & marketing strategy and will manage the company's global distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Sales & Marketing team.
- Build and maintain a high-performance sales infrastructure to effectively achieve business objectives.
- Establish and supervise a distribution network / direct sales infrastructure for the company's commercial products, as well as launch of new products.
- Establish a global distribution network.
- Plan and meet an annual sales and marketing plan.
- Establish sales strategies and tactics to meet sales forecast.
- Prepare the company’s market research and establish marketing strategies to support company business objectives.
- Manage all marketing activities, including collaterals, social media, and conferences.
- Establish effective relationships and collaborations with potential customers.
- Maintain effective line of communication and cooperation with other departments to address key business aspects.
- Attend clinical meetings, seminars, and conferences as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences-must
- At least 5 years of experience in managing a direct global sales force or distribution network.
- Experience in medical device companies.
- Experience and proven success in establishing distribution network/ direct sales infrastructure and the ability to lead and manage them.
- Experience in Startup companies-an advantage.
- Marketing & Sales / Business Development Professional with strong scientific background
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans.
- Demonstrated ability in establishment and implement of business plans and marketing strategy.
- Solid understanding of healthcare and regulatory requirements and issues.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
- Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills-English&Hebrew.
- Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as required.
