Payroll accountant and Bookkeeper

Biomica is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing innovative microbiome-based therapeutics and a subsidiary of Evogene Ltd. (Nasdaq: EVGN) (TASE: EVGN).

We are looking for a payroll accountant and a bookkeeper, reporting to the company’s VP of Finance.

Areas of responsibility:

·        Entry of supplier invoices into the accounting system and making payments to suppliers in Israel and abroad.

·        Complete quarterly financial closing, including supporting work papers.

·        VAT reporting.

·        Managing company bank accounts.

·        Managing company credit cards (reporting expenses and performing adjustments).

·        Preparing travel-abroad reports.

·        Handling employee expense reports.

·        Payroll accounting – responsibility for salary preparation for company employees, withholding taxes reporting, and payment.

Requirements:

·        Certification and experience in payroll accounting – at least 5 years, a must!

·        Experience using the MICHPAL system – a must.

·        Bookkeeping certification – level/type 3 and higher.

·        Experience using the PRIORITY system – a must.

·        Experience working with budgetary items – an advantage.

·        Independent work ability and end-to-end management of processes.

·        High Excel proficiency.

·        High level English.
