Credit & Financial Risk Officer

Responsibilities

You will be the bank’s credit , ALM & financial focal point, keeping up to date with legal requirements, regulations and guidelines pertaining to risks relevant to the bank’s products.

• Monitoring the credit activity and conducting credit checks to identify increases in credit exposures on time and prevent deterioration of credit quality/portfolio
• Monitoring, reviewing and challenging financial, ALM & credit models
• Testing new system products & conducting back-testing
• Assisting with credit and financial procedures, ensuring that the bank’s operations adhere to the laws regulating it
• Designing and updating relevant policies
• Establishing effective control methods and monitoring tools
• Performing quality checks and preparing credit, ALM & financial reports and analyses

• Can-do attitude, ability to manage, prioritize and push tasks/projects through
• Fast learner with experience improving processes and creating good relationships with colleagues
• Ability to handle multiple projects and to facilitate, organize and coordinate in a collaborative manner
• Proven experience in planning and executing program plans across multiple teams and integration points
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal communication skills

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience (financial/ALM/credit experience in the financial industry or in a fintech company) as an in-house credit officer/financial analyst/audit function in capital and credit areas or similar
• Bachelor’s degree in economics/business management
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and procedures
• Hands-on experience in the capital and credit markets
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills in English
