What will you do?  

Play a leading part of Exelerate's Technical Team with a prime responsibility for the traffic engineering in the company. The prime tasks will include: (1) be part of the company's extended leadership team (2) consultation to the CEO and CTO on traffic engineering aspects of our product development, (3) leading the adaptation process of Exelerate's the product to the control methodology and terminology of different countries, (4) being directly involved in Exelerate's deployments by analyzing the intersections and traffic plans, executing/recommending on deployment methodologies, and required changes to traffic behavior, (5) advising the algorithm teams on various issues concerning traffic methodologies.

An extensive "on-boarding" process will take place in order to educate the employee on the software and the relevant technical background required in order to perform the job correctly.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

• B.Sc in Civil Engineering, focus on traffic engineering (if relevant).
• M.Sc in Traffic Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience with designing traffic-signaled intersections in an urban environment.
• Experience in design of priority for trams and buses of at least 2 years.
• Experience with preparing written documentation for analysis of traffic behavior to traffic authorities.
• Writing and verbal proficiency in English.

Advantage:

• Experience with commonly used traffic design and simulation software (Vissim, Vissum, LISA, others).
• Extended knowledge with traffic management and control software and hardware.
• Experience with software development processes.
• Deep knowledge of USA traffic methodology and regulation.
