We are currently seeking an Information Security Communications Specialist on behalf of a leading communications organization. This is a unique opportunity to join their core team responsible for safeguarding national infrastructural communications.

Job Description:

As an Information Security Communications Specialist, you will work as a technician in the core infrastructure department, focusing on project management and maintenance. Your key responsibilities will include:

Core Infrastructure Maintenance: Overseeing projects and maintenance within the core infrastructure department.

Requirements:

Education: Relevant education in the fields of communication and operation of AM products.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications and information security team within an enterprise and/or integrator organization.

Networking Expertise: Proven experience in establishing and maintaining L2 and L3 networks in DataCenter and campus environments.

Security Skills: Proven experience in setting up and maintaining Firewall systems, Load Balancers, and SSL VPNs.

Advantageous Skills:

While not required, the following skills and experiences would be advantageous:

Experience with firewalls from leading manufacturers, especially CheckPoint.

Maintenance of Web Application Firewall (WAF) and LAB systems, particularly with f5.

Installation and maintenance of switches and routers, including Juniper and Arista devices.

Maintenance of SSL VPN systems, specifically PulseSecure.

Establishing IPSec connections with equipment from various manufacturers.

Maintenance of proxy systems, with a focus on Forcepoint.

Identification and troubleshooting of faults, including traffic analysis using sniffers.

Setting up and using management and monitoring systems, such as Cacti and Netbox
