Production Planning and Control Manager

a global biotech company is looking for

a highly organized and experienced Production Planning and Control Manager to join our pharmaceutical team. The Production Planning and Control Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing production planning, material procurement, inventory management, and process optimization.

Responsibilities:

o Annual Material Planning: Develop annual material plans based on forecasts, negotiate with direct and indirect material suppliers, and maintain price lists.

o Production and Packaging Control: Ensure efficient production and packaging operations, including the management of production schedules and the opening of production batches.

o Raw Material and Inventory Management: Plan and control raw materials, packaging materials, intermediate products, and finished products to maintain optimal inventory levels. Maintain comprehensive inventory documentation.

o Process Optimization: Lead projects aimed at optimizing and improving work processes within the production and inventory management departments.

o KPI Development: Create key performance indicators (KPIs) to support various organizational processes and monitor their performance.

o Budgeting: Collaborate in the development and management of budgets related to production planning and inventory control.

Requirements:

o Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management

o 2-4 years of experience in planning, inventory management, or procurement, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical production.

o In-depth knowledge of production processes and production planning.

o Proficiency in office software applications.

o Familiarity with the Priority ERP system

o Experience working in a pharmaceutical company is highly desirable

o Proficient in spoken and written English
