What's Guardio?

Guardio is a B2C cybersecurity startup offering security and privacy solutions directly to consumers - regular people, not corporate companies. We develop products you’d want for yourself, your parents, family, and friends. Our goal is to protect real people from cyber problems and crime. We try and avoid buzzwords, but sometimes those keywords are necessary: we help our customers avoid and combat the modern world’s security threats, like phishing, financial scams, malware, browser hijacking, identity theft, data leaks, and a whole lot more.

Guardio is a relatively small company (we just passed 70 people) on a rapid growth path, and we’re looking for core team members to join our Growth team. We already have well over a million registered customers, and plenty of new products and features in the pipeline.

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Data Analyst to join a core team of experienced analysts, researchers, and scientists, where you will be responsible for owning and driving substantial innovations to core product functionality on a daily basis.

You will:

• Utilize cutting-edge, big data technologies to analyze and block malicious actors operating on the web.
• Collaborate closely with top-notch development and product teams in a dynamic work environment.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of large-scale cyber security data sets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Research and stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to develop the team’s capabilities.

Hard to tell. Our guess is you have a high chance of fitting in if you check as many of these as possible:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Cyber-Security / Data Analyst.
• 5+ years of work experience in complex analysis using SQL (experience with BQ - Advantage).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, and data visualization tools.
• Good grasp of networking, the internet, and how modern web browsers function (HTTP, DNS, HTML, etc.).
• Understanding of the web cyber-security landscape, vulnerabilities, and attack surfaces.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and work on complex challenges.
• Solid communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
