We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Automotive Penetration Tester to join our dynamic cybersecurity team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and safety of automotive systems.

Job Description:
As a Senior Automotive Security Researcher, you will be responsible for evaluating the security of automotive software and hardware systems.

Your expertise will help us identify vulnerabilities in embedded automotive systems, working with the world's leading car companies ensuring that vehicles remain secure against cyber threats. The posiotion includes varied low-level security research and penetration testing work with multiple systems in a black-box and white-box manner and multiple architectures (Arm, Tricore, others), multiple operating systems (Linux/RTOS/Android/Autosar/other) and many different technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth penetration testing on automotive software and hardware components to identify vulnerabilities and security weaknesses.
• Reverse engineer automotive software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security best practices throughout the product development lifecycle. [IS THIS TRUE?]
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive cybersecurity trends and emerging threats to proactively address potential risks.
• Perform risk assessments and security audits, providing recommendations for remediation and mitigation.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and methodologies for assessing automotive cybersecurity, and complying with relevant standards.
• Support our product development teams with expert knowledge and guidance on anti-exploitation and other security technologies
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior researchers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Communicate findings and security assessments to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with external security researchers and organizations.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in penetration testing or security research in embedded systems.
• Proven experience in reverse engeering firwmare and embedded devices or low-level software.
• Optional: Deep knowledge of automotive architectures, communication protocols, and embedded systems.
• Optional: Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO 21434).
