DevOps Engineer

We're looking for a bright, solution-oriented DevOps Engineer to join the R&D team. As part of your role, you’ll build, run, manage and monitor all aspects of our cloud-based environments.

You will be responsible for advancing the high paced department to new heights.

Your role will include making sure that our systems and infrastructures scale and perform at optimal levels. You’ll face challenges of performance, scalability, and availability in multi-cloud environments with the newest services and tools.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for DevOps, Cloud and Monitoring environments - Build infrastructure, tools and services to improve delivery and availability
• Responsible for the Firefly platform, up-time, infrastructure, scale and costs
• Work alongside Architects, Developers and other tech leads in the company

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a modern DevOps/SRE
• Experience with cloud architectures such as AWS, GCP or Azure - must
• In-depth knowledge of build/release systems, git, GitOps principles, CI/CD systems, Github Actions
• Experience with Go, Python and Scripting Fundamentals
• Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm)
• Good networking foundations: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Load-balancers, network security
• Understanding of monitoring tools such as (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Alike)
• Experience with containerized environments and microservices (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in Hashicorp Vault or any Secret stores - an advantage
• Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, and Elastic - an advantage
• Innovative and ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies
• A state of mind and approach to automate away from manual efforts
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability
