We are a young startup in the food tech, looking for you - Food Lab Technician.

Location: Haifa, Israel.

Job Type: Full time.

Shift: Primarily Day Shift, but may involve occasional Afternoon Shifts

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Food Lab Technician to join our team. This role involves executing recipes provided by our food technologist. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a keen eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy, and a passion for food science.

Responsibilities

1. Accurately execute recipes provided by the food technologist.
2. Record detailed observations and data during the recipe execution process.
3. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the lab workspace at all times.
4. Collaborate with the food technologist and provide feedback on recipe outcomes.
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the lab.
6. Work flexibly, accommodating afternoon shifts when required.
7. Manage inventory and ensure all ingredients and supplies are stocked.
8. Continuously stay updated with latest food science trends and techniques.
9. Assist in any other lab tasks or projects as directed.

Qualifications

1. Diploma/Degree in Food Science or related field is an advantage, but not mandatory.
2. Previous experience in a food lab or similar setting is a plus.
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Basic English - a must!
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Familiarity with lab equipment and safety protocols.
