Senior Software Qualification Engineer

NVIDIA is looking for an excellent, highly motivated Software Engineer with experience to join the Qualification HW Group. We are seeking a candidate with the ability to thrive in an environment with complex software and hardware designs. The role includes working closely with HW, FW, and SW teams to take our product to the next level

What You'll Be Doing

• Be part of SW/HW projects in a large and cross-platform codebase.
• Write fast, effective, maintainable, reliable, and well-documented code.
• Be responsible for delivering SW with different features, including design, development, and integration of components from other teams.
• Collaborate across software and hardware teams to define, plan, and deliver on commitments, following through the entire architecture definition process from design and development to feature bring-up and productization.
• May influence the software test coverage of hardware products.
  
  

What We Need To See

• B.Sc degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience in developing in Linux and user-space environment.
• Strong design, coding, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work concurrently with multiple groups in the organization.
• Creative, motivated, and value-driven person.
  
  

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Expertise in modern programming languages such as Perl, Python ,Java, Java Swing-based GUI.
• Proficiency in scripting for data crawling and analysis.
• Experience in working with SQL database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL, and Oracle.
• Exposure to and interest in open-source frameworks, tools, and technologies.
• Experience in continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Familiarity with working on the Docker platform.
• Proficient use of the Git platform, Perforce platform.
