DevOps Team Lead

Papaya is one of the fastest-growing mobile game powerhouses in the world, with millions of players enjoying our diverse range of games. Headquartered in the heart of Tel Aviv, we’re building a unique, high-scale tournament platform that powers popular titles and entertains players worldwide. We’re looking for a DevOps Team Lead eager to become a pioneering core member of our R&D organization. In this role, you will shape the team, drive innovation, and lay the groundwork for scalable, robust infrastructure as we grow exponentially.

Requirements:

6+ years of DevOps experience (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.).
2+ years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in scripting (Python, TypeScript, or similar).
B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field experience.

Responsibilities:

Recruit, mentor, and grow a highly professional DevOps team.
Build and lead the roadmap for scalable AWS/Kubernetes-based environments.
Collaborate with R&D teams and lead the efforts to optimize time-to-market and quality.
Drive best practices in CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and performance.
Tech stack: AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD/Rollouts, NodeJS/Typescript/Python, Terraform, Helm.
