Director of Human Capital Programs

Start-Up Nation Central is seeking an experienced Director of Human Capital Programs to lead our Human Capital activities.

The Director of Human Capital Programs will provide significant impact to the Israeli innovation ecosystem by understanding its needs and challenges and building strategic programs and solutions to tackle the local human capital challenges. In addition, the Director of Human Capital Programs will lead global human capital initiatives in collaboration with foreign counties.

The Human Capital Group develops high-end, impactful initiatives and solutions to better address Israel’s high-tech human capital challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This executive and strategic role plays a major part in shaping the organization’s direction, providing high-quality service to its diverse stakeholders, and helping strengthen the entire Israeli innovation ecosystem.

The Director of Human Capital Programs, will lead partnerships with high-tech companies, academic and training institutions, government agencies, non-profits, and philanthropies to build programs and models that increase and improve the supply of talent to Israel’s tech sector.

The Director of Human Capital Programs will report to the CPO and be responsible for:

• Establishing SNC’s human capital strategy and roadmap
• Developing programs and initiatives to execute the strategy
• Curating content and being a subject expert matter in human capital issues
• On-boarding partners and stakeholders from different entities: Gov, philanthropy, high-tech industry, academia
• Managing programs and projects from A to Z, from ideation, pilot to scale
• Defining a set of measurement to ensure high impact and scale

Professional Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in significant social projects, both strategically and operationally
• 10+ years in diversified leadership roles, driving and implementing programs, initiatives, collaborations, and strategy
• This position requires good knowledge of the Israeli high-tech market, including understanding the needs and familiarity with the relevant players.
• Proven track record of building and growing organizations through new product development, process optimization, and scaling solutions and services
• Proven experience developing and executing strategic and significant projects
• Detail-oriented and process-driven with a structured problem-solving attitude
• Inspiring, engaging people, leader and communicator with natural high EQ - able to set a vision, influence, and motivate people to achieve targets
• Experience and knowledge of the challenges of the Israeli employment market - a significant advantage
