This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Data Scientist focused on computer vision, you will be responsible for:

• Complex, real-world problems with immediate impact on patient’s lives. You will solve data science challenges that can be applied to large scale unstructured data sets.
• You will conduct research, design, and implement disruptive algorithms for optimizing acquisition, analysis and classification of medical neurons images using machine learning and deep learning methods.
• Leading all engineering processes from data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing, to training models, optimizing their performance and deploying them to production.
• You will develop our product on AWS infrastructure to accurately translate biological phenomena into computational readouts.
• You will be involved in fast prototyping, feasibility studies, specification, and integration of computer vision algorithms and data science models into our product components.
• Designing and conducting tests, performing statistical analysis, and interpreting test results.
• Generating reliable, correct training data with great attention to detail. Identifying and debugging issues in deep learning models such as overfitting, leakage and label noise.

• You have an MSc degree in an engineering or science domain such as Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• High proficiency with programming languages such as Python, C++, Go, JavaScript or Java. Specifically with libraries such as PyTorch, AirFlow and MLflow.
• Deep understanding of ML and CV methods theory and best practices (and knowing how to balance between theory and practice).
• Knowledgeable with AWS or GCP, object stores, SQL and NoSQL databases, distributed computing, cloud native services, CI/CD and Agile software development practices.
• Outstanding collaboration and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Team player who can work independently, prioritize work and adapt to an agile environment.
