Overview
The Customer Solutions Center is looking for a Business Development Senior Specialist for Small Business to drive Mastercard’s developments in Israel and other countries in South East Europe (SEE). The ideal candidate is passionate about digital payments, customer experience, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
As Business Development Senior Specialist you will be responsible for supporting development scalable small business solutions in Israel and other SEE countries. This role will work closely with the Account Management teams and Solution Architects to enable solutions that addresses small business needs while leveraging the unique competitive advantages that our solutions offer. They will also support the European Product team to drive business growth for specific solutions, services and capabilities across the product lifecycle, from launch to maturation.

Role
You are expected to to drive market enablement and support the sales teams in Israel and other countries in SEE as well as acting as key interface with regional product teams to ensure an effective feedback loop. In this role you will:
- Assists with the development of a sales pipeline in coordination with the Sales teams
- Help prepare for and participate in conversations with key decision makers about product opportunities
- Analyze customers’ existing business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis
- Guide and partner with customers to deliver the best possible consumer journey and experience
- Provide specialized support to the Solution Architects and Sales teams in pre and after sale partner meetings with detailed technical understanding of product features and solutions
- Use customer needs, research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to document business and product requirements
- Review information on competitors’ product offerings, business models and technology innovations on a regular basis and share findings
- Support existing business development relationships (e.g., fintechs, government, regulators, industry bodies)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business
- Self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail, adaptable, executes with a sense of urgency and strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong execution skills, able to get things done through collaboration with partners across the region
- Strong communications, presentation and interpersonal skills with experience interfacing with customers
- Keen understanding of competitive offerings, industry trends and go-to-market considerations
- Experience in managing products and business development activities related to Small Business financial services in a financial institution or fintech is a plus
- Strong English language skills
