Rapyd is looking for a controller who will supervise and manage various financial activities including financial planning, tax, budgeting, and forecasting. Rapyd's controller will also have responsibilities such as preparing accurate financial statements, supervising day-to-day accounting operations, and leading the finance and accounting team. This position will act as a focal point within our financial department while leading processes, projects, and support workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing all financial activities of the corporation, including financial planning, tax, budgeting , forecasting, etc.
• Preparing and analyzing accurate and timely financial statements reports on a monthly and yearly basis.
• Supervising and managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and fixed asset management. Reviewing and approving financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Managing and leading the finance and accounting team, including training, performance evaluations, and professional development. Ensuring a high standard of work, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive work environment.
• Guarantee compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
  
  

• 6 years of experience in either the Big Four or in a global Company.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting , CPA license a must
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills
• Immediate availability - Advantage
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy
• Ability to collaborate across teams and guide financial strategies
• Excellent level of English (written and verbal). Spanish is an advantage.
