Data Platform Product Manager - Safemine Health Data Onboarding

You’ll work closely with our Product Managers, Engineering, QA, Data Operation, and Data Partnership teams. You’ll have two key areas of focus:

• Data Onboarding - Designing and owning health data onboarding, focused on establishing a streamlined and effective process that brings data on with quality and speed. You’ll own the analytics for how new data affects our data network and identify product improvements to better assimilate new data.
• Data Quality of our Onboarded Data - Design and own key quality metrics, identify improvements, and work cross-functionally to launch new features to continue to enhance our data. You’ll focus on productizing improvements that work at scale across billions of records.

You will be making an impact on business growth by owning the new data onboarding solution and product features. This will include being hands-on with the data, designing features, writing detailed mapping specifications, and building the roadmap of improvements to continue to enrich our data and drive product excellence.This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about data and excited about working alongside Product Managers, Data Operations, Engineers, and QA to drive continuous improvement & data quality in our Crossix Data Platform.What You'll Do

• Own and design data onboarding features from start to finish, including user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, feature and mapping specifications, quality control checks, and data dictionaries
• Manage the overall data onboarding plan: release and sprint planning, manage the prioritization, communicate and mitigate technical risks
• Author high-quality design specifications within an agile methodology based upon industry and downstream systems/customer requirements
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, Data Operation, and Product Management to ensure products are built and delivered with quality
• Be accountable for the success of the product - define and analyze product metrics and quantified methodology for data quality

Requirements

• 3+ years Experience working on data pipelines, such as designing ETL/ELT processes, schemas, and QC checks
• 3+ years of hands-on Product Management experience, technical services, engineering, analytics, or other related positions
• Exceptional leader, a clear communicator, forming relationships and influencing without authority across all levels of the organization
• Understand data and data infrastructure and experience designing transformations, mappings, and working with reference tables
• Proficient in SQL
• Understanding of cloud-based applications and designs
• Experience investigating data issues and working with Data Scientists as needed for complex analysis
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Spotfire
• BA/MA/BSc/MSc in relevant fields

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Life Sciences industry, SaaS, and/or enterprise products
• Understanding of healthcare data, including Rx Claims, Medical Claims, and EHR
• Understanding of NoSql databases
