Full Stack Next.js Developer

You learned to code the hard way, before AI could do it for you. Now you run coding agents like Claude Code as a force multiplier and ship at a pace that used to take a whole team. Bridgify is a B2B2C travel and lifestyle platform. We give brands a way to sell global experiences inside their own products. That is a global inventory of over a million tours, activities, live events, and shopping vouchers, delivered through a white-label website or our API.

This role owns everything our users see and touch. You will work alongside our backend Django team and own the full Next.js stack end to end, from server rendered pages and the data layer to the finished interface.

You will build the full range of our user-facing products: the consumer marketplace (our white-label property), the Marketplace Management System (MMS) and whatever we build next. The marketplace sets the bar. It is public, it carries the brand of partners people already trust, and its design, speed, and discoverability move revenue directly. We need someone whose ceiling is polished consumer-grade web, not someone who has only ever built internal admin panels.

One thing matters to us more than almost anything else on this list. The engineers we want came up writing and reasoning about code themselves. You understand architecture, data structures, and the tradeoffs underneath the code, so AI makes you faster instead of making decisions you cannot check. We are not hiring vibe coders whose only real skill is prompting their way through code they could not have written or judged on their own.

*** What You Will Own ***

- The full Next.js application, client side and server side: App Router, server components, server actions, API routes, caching, and rendering strategy.

- The user experience across every surface, from the consumer marketplace to the MMS and the reporting tools. The marketplace is held to the highest bar for design and speed.

- Discoverability and conversion: technical SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization, getting our experiences to show up inside AI answers from tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude), plus the conversion flows and personalization that turn visitors into bookings.

- Web performance: Core Web Vitals, load speed, and rendering, the things that keep both users and search engines happy.

- Features end to end, from spec and architecture through deployment and monitoring.

- The data layer behind the interfaces: complex SQL, query performance, and how the frontend reads from and writes to Postgres safely and efficiently. You design the data your screens and reports need, and you share the core model with the backend team.

You build web experiences that look great, load fast, rank well, and convert, and you own the relational data behind them. You can hold your own in an architecture discussion, write the SQL yourself, ship the page, then read the numbers to see if it worked. You move fast, and you do not leave a mess for the next person.

*** How You Will Work With Product ***

You will work closely with our Product Team, who own the specs, the funnel, and conversion. They define the what and the why. You turn that into the live product, and you push back when the logic or the architecture has a blind spot. We want a thinking partner, not a ticket taker.

*** Must-Haves ***

- 3+ years of real, hands-on full stack Next.js in production, both client side and server side. Not "I used React once and touched Next on the side."

- A real eye for UX and UI on customer-facing web. You have shipped public-facing sites for external users, not just internal CMS screens, and your work shows it.

- Strong technical SEO and a clear view on where discoverability is heading with GEO and AI-driven search.

- Expert in semantic HTML and clean, best-practice markup, which also pays off in accessibility and SEO. Deep CSS knowledge, and real experience with component frameworks like Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.

- Real CRO and analytics instinct. You instrument your own events and funnels, you watch where users drop off, and you iterate until the numbers move. You also understand personalization, shaping the experience around the individual user to lift engagement and conversion.

- Solid grasp of web performance, accessibility, and modern frontend architecture.

- You can own a feature end to end and make sound architecture calls on your own.

- Real work you can show us. Bring your GitHub and a few live links. We want to see what you have shipped, not just hear about it.

- Strong relational database skills on PostgreSQL or similar. You write complex SQL by hand: joins, aggregations, window functions, indexing, and query tuning. Deep schema architecture is a plus, and you will share the core data model with our backend team. NoSQL-only backgrounds such as MongoDB are not the fit here.

- A real engineering foundation under the AI. You can read, review, and overrule what an agent gives you, because you could have written it yourself. AI is how you go faster, not how you skip understanding your own system.

- Advanced, daily use of Claude Code as an orchestration tool, not copy and paste. You write clear specs, set up project context and rules, run agents across multi-step tasks, check what they produce, and know when to take the keyboard back.

- You work spec first. You define the what and the why precisely, then let both people and agents move fast against a clear source of truth.

- You can tell a genuinely useful tool from a shiny distraction, and you choose accordingly.

- Be ready to show us how you actually work with AI agents on a real codebase. Walk us through a session, a project context file, a workflow, something real.

- Internationalization and localization, including RTL & LTR layouts for global multi-brand properties.
