Senior QA Automation Engineer

The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by developing our automation framework and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and recommending corrective actions.

• Take ownership, develop automation framework and execute test plans for the big data team
• Identify and report defects
• Recommend corrective actions
• Work with developers to fix defects
• Stay up-to-date on software testing trends
• Participate in software reviews and inspections

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing
• 3+ years of experience as QA Automation Engineer
• 3+ years of experience programming with Python/JavaScript/JAVA
• Proven experience working with data validation, data quality and data integrity
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases
• Experience with API testing
• Experience with automation tools
• Strong understanding of software development and testing principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
