BIM Coordinator

Veev, an innovative large-scale startup in the construction industry, with a large base of projects in the Silicon Valley area and design offices in Tel-Aviv, is looking for a BIM Coordinator with experience in design and engineering software to join the BIM department in our Tel Aviv office.

This position plays an active role in the ongoing efforts to become world leaders in digital design and delivery methodology.

The BIM Coordinator is expected to provide ongoing project management and support for the Revit and BIM 360 platform to work closely with our designers and production engineering to make sure they reach a high BIM standard, both on internal and external levels.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Guide the project team in using the Veev BIM Processes and providing assistance when required.
• Ensuring the models are compliant with the Veev standards and identifying improvements and contributing to the Veev BIM Strategy.
• The BIM technical software expert on the project can assist the design team during the authoring, permitting and coordination process.
• Managing the BIM360 Common data environment including collaborating with other departments who utilize the system.
• BIM model federation, validation and quality audits; clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
• Leading design coordination meetings and assisting the project manager throughout the project phases.
• Assist in training the wider team in utilizing and applying the Veev BIM processes, protocols, and tools.
  
  

• Architecture or Engineering Degree.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Construction related professions (Architecture, Engineering, etc).
• Experience in managing a common data environment and BIM360 in particular.
• Advanced understanding of Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo and other BIM tools.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work well with others in a highly collaborative, team environment.
• Great problem solving skills.
• Experience with various file formats as IFC, SAT, NWC/D/F.
  
  

• Experience with PDM, Solidworks is an advantage.
• Knowledge of pre-fabrication or manufacturing will be advantageous.
