What Will You Do
The Senior Product Analyst is a key player in the Product Management team at our TLV office and helps drive data-driven decisions across different product domains. The Senior Product Analyst role includes querying and analyzing data, evaluating feature alternatives, designing experiments, and planning and creating dashboards. The individual in this role will work directly with Product Managers to support product decision questions and analyses.
This role is part of a professional data analysis team which supports core products that serve advertisers and publishers across the digital landscape. The role requires big data analyses, attention to detail, business understanding, and strong product intuition. Communication skills are incredibly important, as the position interfaces across functions and geographies.
Job Responsibilities
- Gathering and analyzing large amounts of information to discover & develop compelling, insightful, data-driven recommendations.
- Defining, calculating and evaluating success metrics.
- Communicating state of business, experiment results, etc. to product & development teams.
- Monitoring key product metrics & system health, conducting root cause analyses.
- Asking business and product-relevant questions and answering them with data.
- Partnering with Operations & Engineering teams to improve process efficiencies
- Gaining a deep understanding of the products and their development processes, determining how to solve everyday issues best, and suggesting new features to solve ongoing issues.
- BA/BSc degree in a quantitative field.
- 4+ years of full-time working experience in quantitative analysis roles.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python (for data manipulation), and any data analysis tool, such as Looker.
- Excellent understanding of statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression types).
- Experience working with a product team on data-driven decisions
- Good product sense - show ability to understand the analytics tasks' context, goals, and implications.
- Capable of working simultaneously with many different stakeholders in several geographies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- BA/BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or other technical fields. Graduate studies are an extra advantage.
- MA in a quantitative field
