Senior Thermal Liquid Cooling Engineer

NVIDIA is looking for a talented Thermal Engineer to join our Networking Thermal Engineering team and work on the cutting-edge of liquid cooling technology for high speed communication devices. You will have the chance to design and develop innovative thermal solutions for NVIDIA’s next generation products, and collaborate with a team of experts in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. What You Will Be Doing

• Design and optimize liquid cooling systems for NVIDIA’s networking products, including cold plates, heat exchangers, tubing, fittings, and sensors.
• Perform thermal simulation and analysis using CFD tools (e.g. FloEFD, FloTHERM, Fluent) to evaluate the performance and reliability of the liquid cooling solutions.
• Plan and execute lab test activities to validate the designs and troubleshoot any issues.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams (e.g. mechanical, electrical, software) to ensure the integration and compatibility of the liquid cooling solutions with the product requirements.
  
  

What We Need To See

• M.Sc. or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing liquid cooling solutions for electronic components or systems.
• Solid understanding of Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat Transfer principles and applications.
• Proficient in using FEA/CFD tools for thermal simulation and analysis, and familiar with at least one thermal analysis software (e.g. IcePak, FloTHERM, Fluent).
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ways to stand out from the crowd:
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials for liquid cooling components.
• Experience with testing and validation methods and equipment for liquid cooling systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for liquid cooling design.
