Structural Revit Modeler

Veev is looking for a highly motivated Structural Revit modeler with a high level of knowledge in Revit to work for our American/Israeli start-up company, in our Tel Aviv office.

This position in our Digital Twin department, entails being part of the team leading the development & coordination of the project, building of the project 3D Revit models from initial model development until fully detailed for fabrication and assembly.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create BIM Revit models with a very high level of detailing and precision, with full design coordination with all other disciplines, according to the Veev standards and methods, as a modeler in the structural project team led by the project lead structural engineer.
• Develop detailed design drawings using Revit - from initial model development to permit set, fabrication drawings and construction sets including building details.
• Understand building vs. fabrication considerations and identify site and factory scope.
• Coordinate and consult with other team members to model, layout, or detail components and structural systems and implement Veev innovative solutions into the project models.
  
  

• Associates degree or in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a formal certificate from a known establishment in a relevant field.
• Proficient user with 2 years of proven recent Revit experience in construction related roles, specifically modeling structural building systems.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and construction details.
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on organization. Methodical with strong technical abilities, responsible.
• Must be able to work well with others as a team in a highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment using technical knowledge within the role, and have the ability for learning independently.
• Very Good level of English
  
  

• Previous experience in Solidworks
• Experience using BIM360, Navisworks and other BIM tools, work with collaborative models.
• Knowledge and experience of intermediate family creation or customization.
• Knowledge of pre-fabrication or manufacturing / Shop drawings of building systems.
