Finance Manager

BARZILAI Exhibition Experts, a prominent international design and production company, is currently in search of a Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future.

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading critical financial activities, including the development and implementation of strategic financial initiatives, budgetary control, efficient collections, and the oversight of all accounting functions within the organization. Your role will be pivotal in collaborating with department heads to enhance financial performance, ensure compliance with evolving regulations, and provide strategic insights to fuel the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

·       Collaborate with executive management to develop and execute the company's financial strategy, fostering growth and financial stability.

·       Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making, encompassing cost analysis, pricing strategies, and robust financial forecasting.

Budget Management:

·       Take the lead in preparing, monitoring, and managing the company's annual budget, working closely with department heads.

·       Perform variance analysis and offer recommendations to optimize budget utilization.

·       Identify opportunities for cost savings and devise strategies for risk mitigation.

Collections and Accounts Receivable:

·       Oversee accounts receivable to ensure the prompt and effective collection of outstanding invoices.

Cost Oversight:

·       Monitor and analyze company-wide costs and expenses, identifying avenues for cost reduction and operational efficiency enhancements.

·       Collaborate with department heads to establish cost control strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Procurement Management:

·       Lead the procurement process, ensuring alignment with the company's budget and cost control objectives.

·       Establish procurement policies, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

·       Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting standards.

·       Maintain communication with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.

·       Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments in financial procedures.

Supervision and Leadership:

·       Manage a team of two additional staff members, including an analyst and an office manager.

·       Set departmental goals and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

·       Proficiency in English at an advanced level.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·       Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

·       A keen eye for detail.

·       Willingness to work full-time with flexibility in hours.

·       A bachelor's degree in economics or accounting is mandatory.

·       A master's degree is highly advantageous.

·       A proven track record with at least 2 years of experience as a financial manager or senior accountant.

·       Familiarity with the exhibitions industry is a notable advantage.

·       Experience working with financial software, including proficiency in tools like monday.com, is beneficial.
