As a Commercial lawyer at Neema you will:

• Provide ongoing legal counseling and guidance on various commercial and regulation issues, collaborating closely with internal teams including sales, customer success, project solution, product, and operations.
• Understand the company’s products and goals and provide general legal support within the company as required.
• Monitor development in legislation and best practices related to financial regulation.
• Review and negotiate agreements with vendors and partners.

Requirements

• LL. B from a leading institution
• At least 4 years of experience as an in-house lawyer or a lawyer in a leading law firm's regulation, banking, or commercial department.
• High level of professionalism, analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, organized, responsible, self-driven, and highly motivated with a 'can do' attitude.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and being able to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships across the organization.
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Financial services background or experience in a financial services company - a plus
