Lead System Enginner

Ultrawis is a technology company based in Israel that introduces cutting-edge technology to the construction and crane industry. Our goal is to spearhead the digital transformation in construction through the implementation of smart cranes on digital job sites. 

Ultrawis has digitized the handling of materials on job sites, from the planning phase to the timely delivery of materials to the correct location for the appropriate team. The UltraWis Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is a comprehensive solution that can be added to any crane. It includes a set of five high-resolution wide-view and panoramic cameras, a wind sensor, and a crane interface and control unit. These components are all connected to a 21-inch operator touch panel computer, which displays real-time video overlays through augmented reality and provides anti-collision features to prevent accidents and save lives. 

Each crane equipped with ADAS is connected to a web-based cloud application that offers measurements of crane productivity and utilization, as well as imagery and video recordings, site monitoring analytics, and the ability to directly plan material lifts on the operator's screen in real-time. Using Ultrawis' computer vision and augmented reality technology, operators can identify the location and destination of materials, as well as the recommended route. 

Gone are the days of communication via walkie-talkie between crane operators and construction teams. With Ultrawis, you can plan, designate lifts, and access the necessary data and insights to ensure you stay on schedule, with the right materials delivered at the right time for the right team.

We are looking for a Leading System Engineer to work closely with our CTO and join company development team and technology effort. 

Responsibilities

• Lead the system requirements process.
• Track development progress and achive development milestones according to planned schedule.
• Lead team engineering meetings.
• Lead the systems experiments in LAB and on Field.
• Respinsible for team synchronization based on planned schedule.
• Work Closly and report to the company CTO.

Qualifications

• BSC\MSC in mechanical engineering or Similar – a Must.
• Proven experience as an R&D system engineer of multidisciplinary ADAS / AUTONOMOUS system development including software, hardware, and electro optic components - a Must.
• Proven experience with motion and control sensing with PLC’s integration and motion and controls algorithms - a Must.
• Ability to lead and personally participate in system integrations and testing in lab and from time to time on tower cranes in jobsites (working in heights) – a Must.
• Knowledge of mesh wireless communication – an advantage.   
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Familiar with Scrum methodologies.
• Strong Team leadership and management capabilities – people’s person.
• Startup experience – Creative, innovative, with CAN DO thinking.
