Come join us.About The PositionAs the Director of Data, you will architect the data roadmap and you will be responsible for overseeing our entire data ecosystem, from data strategy development to the successful implementation of data-driven initiatives.You will build and lead a data team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to unlock the full potential of our data assets.Reporting directly to the VP of MIS, you will play a critical role in shaping our data roadmap, ensuring data quality and integrity, and enabling driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.The Director of Data is a strategic and results-driven leader, working collaboratively with all the business units ( Product, Finance, FP&A, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) and leading the cross-company data approach, processes & outcomes.The ideal candidate will have vast experience in global companies leading data/BI teams in all aspects.The Director of Data will work hand-in-hand with the business teams and the Tech teams to plan, design, and execute the group’s roadmap aligned with the company’s objectives.We’re a fast-growing modern company and need someone with a progressive perspective. • Data Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives. Identify & analyze large, complex data sets, define and prioritize data initiatives, ensuring their successful execution and contribution to the company's growth.
• Data Governance and Quality: Establish robust data governance practices to ensure data security, compliance, and accuracy. Implement data quality controls and procedures to maintain a high standard of data integrity with the attention to security & privacy domain.
• Data Architecture and Infrastructure: Collaborate with the Tech teams to design and lead an efficient and scalable data infrastructure. Design, build, and launch the next generation of the Data approach. Identify opportunities to enhance data storage, processing, and retrieval capabilities.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Oversee the generation of data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and optimize business processes. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities from various data sources to drive innovation and competitive advantage including executing prediction models that affect company decisions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, and department heads, to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights to drive business growth.
• Innovation and Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data management, analytics, and emerging technologies. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data-related processes and methodologies.
• Leadership: Provide strong leadership to our data team, inspiring and guiding them toward achieving our data-driven goals. Lead critical data projects and initiatives, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively with high quality.

• Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in leading and managing data teams. Previous experience as a Head of Data, Director of Data, or similar role is preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge in data management, analytics, data engineering, and data visualization. Familiarity with data tools, platforms, and technologies is essential.
• Data Strategy and Governance: Proven experience in developing data strategies and implementing data governance frameworks.
• Business Acumen: Ability to align data initiatives with business objectives and drive data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization. Translate complex business processes into actionable data models to facilitate decision-making.
• Collaborative and Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both business & tech teams.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
• Ability to see the "big picture” and prioritize among many requests
• BA / BS in Industrial Engineering and Management / Computer Science /Information Systems / Economics / Statistics / Mathematics or a similar background
