Job Description :
Respond to alerts coming from various monitoring tools according to the relevant procedure.
Document all incidents in ticketing system and follow them to successful resolution.
Understand the dependencies and flow of events, and escalate according to procedure.
Working in shift environment.
Must-Have
- Technical orientation.
- Understanding of network monitoring concepts and management tools.
- Ability to collate and interpret data from various sources.
- Ability to assess faults, prioritize, respond, and escalate accordingly.
- Capable of multi-tasking, good time management and prioritization of workload.
- Clear communicator in the English language (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work according to a Standard Operating Procedure.
- Willing to learn and develop new skills.
- Must be a team player.
Advantage
- Knowledge of Linux kernel, command line and system diagnostics and/or other OS.
- Experience within a NOC, IT or Banking IT environment/s
- Experience with Solarwinds and Splunk
Big Advantage
- Experience with Control M, AppDynamics
- Experience with Monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
